Herein begins the tireless journey of one individual’s vision to engage the world through wordpress.
umm, ok, not the the whole world, maybe a subset of video enthusiasts – Christian or not – mentioned that because I am a Christian.
I have begun setting up my wordpress blog locally on my MacBook Pro with:
- Leopard
- Apache2
- WordPress 2.7.1
- MySQL 5.1
- php5
Currently I have installed everything and imported my wordpress.com blog.
However I am having issues that I need to resolve:
- The base directory index.php does not function correctly, unless I rename it and direct to it explicitly.
- I cannot view a particular post (I can see the blog page with all the posts). It displays the default “Your WebSite” page instead.

I thought Mac’s were supposed to be the biz? it took me 20 min’s to set this up ona windows box. Oh yea I forgot you know that already, you were sitting mext to me

I deleted index.html and now everything kind of works
there is just something wonky going on with the theme
