It has always been the goal of this blog to be engaging. At the moment that engagement only happens through comments on topics originating from me. That’s a bit restrictive. The best way around that is to hand over the power to you, where you originate the topic and discussion can happen in a way that is both independent of me and this blog.
For now this is an experiment. I am using bbPress with a few plugins, no CSS editing by myself. However I am using the BusinessLike theme by Spyka.
So please, feel free to add a topic in the watercooler – tell me what you think. Tell me anything 
I will set up a few posts to start off with that will serve as direction for where SynapticLight is going – but you can completely ignore them if you want.

I like BBpress for what it has to offer, but I feel like it could look a bit bettter, or be more editable. Great site though to use for engaging in conversation with your audience. I didn't even know I had so many comments on your blog..I'm on the top commenter at number 7. Guess your engagement strategy is working.
I see that http://standardtheme.com/forums/ uses vBulletin – which look awesome but I could not justify $195 at this stage

but not many people are biting at the opportunity – may I need to offer an alternative for those who either already have the book or who are not interested in it (can't imagine that – lol)
