With the excitement of the 2010 Soccer World Cup peeking (and only a day to go), I was wondering what apps were out there that could be of great use to the many visitors to South Africa. I know that this is a bit of an exception to the norm, but hey, I am a South African and I am also caught up in all the excitement. And of course I am hoping that Bafana Bafana do very very. Anyway, here is a great iPhone app that is a wealth of information over and about the Soccer World Cup.

I’m not using the app, but I heard someone say on the radio this morning that every pub in every town, city or village is going to be tuned in to see this world cup. And that does not include all the people who watch from home.
So while I will be one of the 60 000 in the stadium for one of the matches there are WAY more people ‘out there’ who are going to be joining in. This thing is HUGE.

well, if the Cape Town Street Party and Concert is anything to go by (last night), then there will be tens of thousands of people wanting to watch in pubs and public viewing areas.
I think the app. is a great tool to those travelling SA but unfortunately I am not so for me no use hahahah
