It looks to be a great documentary (from what I can see from the trailer), well put together, professional and very relevant. What the guys are doing to bring out the creativity in the kids, getting them involved and interested in something important. Kids that are caught up in streets of violence.
Hello Reddit! I have a film, it has won three awards, played 11 festivals around the world and I have brokered a financing deal that will allow me to give the film away FREE ONLINE.
There will be NO ads, NO sign ups and NO facebook logins.
The film is called REMIX-to-RIO and is about some hip-hop kids from Toronto who go to Rio De Janeiro and team up with some ex-gangsters to build a recording studio in an extremely violent neighborhood to help distract kids away from the drug trade.
I am releasing the film NOVEMBER 1st and really want to get the word out. Want to help? Got a suggestion? Just wanna check it out?
Please help spread the word!
Thank you people of REDDIT!
Wow, most certainly the way that real Independent Filmmakers are going. The question is how can this approach put money back into the filmmaker’s pocket for effort, time and money already invested.
