Preparing for the next GreenScreen Shoot

That time is coming again, too bad it is not more often, when we can hire some lights and a good camera. Hopefully with the time we have to prepare I can book the Panasonic HVX200 with which I’ll film 720p 4:2:2. The big downer for me is that there is no one renting out an HVX200A, hmmmmmmmm. Once again we will hire the trusty KinoFlo lights, propably 4 lights with a configuration of 4 x4ft. This and the camera is why was can’t do this too often – just too expensive. But we get to creating some really professional stuff here.  Maybe one day we won’t have to hire :-) maybe one day we will film with a RED One or an RED EPIC FF35, oh yes the stuff used to film dreams.

Anyway, it is our intent to purchase a GreenScreen, probably a 12′ x 12′ and a 8′ x 8′, then possibility exists for me to film green screen shoots more often, albeit with a Panasonic AG-DVX100BE and 3 x 150W DedoLights. It could work, but when we tried it on a bluescreen a few months back – it did not. More illumination  was required and we did not have it :-( The idea is, once again, to film enough greenscreen footage to cover the rest of the year’s 10B4 (TenBefore) segmants for Church. I know it is a lot of repitition – but with 6 scripts people do not notice. Also there are changes this time round in the Speaker that we will  – depending on a screen test (but I am pretty sure that he will do perfectly) and since we are changing our Church’s name we won’t be saying Welcome to Stellenberg Community Church, rather something else – something more relevant – something more exciting, wahhhh. Not that the original name was bad in anyway, but that much has changed and we have come a long long long way from where we where a few years ago. Exciting times. Exciting projects, Exciting editing :-)
