Open Source Compositor

November 8, 2011 — 1 Comment

There was a search term that brought someone to my blog: “synapse is a node based compositor” that certainly piqued some interest; what with the words synapse and compositor used in the same search phrase. So I did the same search and it brought me to this. Now this is quite cool.

Ok, I was disappointed at first when I saw that there was no OSX option, but the linux option got me thinking … VMWare or something like that.
With my Lion incompatible Shake 4.1 holding me back I am keen to see how this works, and who knows maybe there is a OSX version on the horizon, given that this is in early development phase.

  1. Shake is a good compositing software . It is somewhat complicated. I am working rather with After Effects, is simpler.
