These are great resources and thoughts.
I talked with a guy the other day about his blog and how he wanted to change everything and have more readers.
I simply told him that could take 1-2 years to even get a small following.
All the books out there are good, but you cannot reproduce what they have done. You can follow some of their stuff, but in the end you have to be yourself and do what you know.

Its frustrating because you wish that it would all just work out and in a month you would have 1000 page views a day. But in all reality, you have to build trust and you have to be able to have good content.

Patience is the one thing that I tell people.
