As I detail on the Guest Posting Page: One of the purposes of SynapticLight is to connect with filmmakers across the board. It is the one thing that keeps me going; if I did not get any comments or improved much on my page views or Google ranking, then I would still say that SynapticLight was successful. It is tempting to forget such an intangible goal since it is not something that can be easily be measured. So I have decided that it is time to push forward with Guest Posting. Think of it as an open forum, a place to voice your thoughts, experiences, words of wisdom and technical know how; with the same connections and relationships that have been made here.
It is also a means to a start – I do not want this blog to end with me, it must be more than the posts and pages I put up, more than my own thoughts and limited experience.
So I ask, if you will, to add your own thoughts by starting a conversation, putting up your own words and not be bound to what I have to say.
As I explained in the Guest Posting Page I do prefer posts to be semi-focused in the realm of filmmaking. That can be from an insider or outsider perspective. It can be from any role in the filmmaking process or it can be from the stance of what can influence or be influenced by filmmaking. Here are some examples, I listed (feel free to suggest your own or query any thing):
- Film Making Techniques
- Film Making Opportunities
- Critique of a Film, style used in a film or procedures used.
- Christian Film
- Film Making and the Church
- Pre-Production, Post-Production and Production tools and techniques
- Film Maker Profiles (or any filling a role in the process of making a file)
- Any aspect of Social Networking or Social Media used in Film Promotion, Production or Distribution
- Personal Experiences and Thoughts on Making Film
- Inspirational and helpful opinions and stories on any aspect in or outside of Hollywood; Independent or Mainstream; or Hobby FilmMaking
