I think that this is great news; that Dreamworld is progressing. South Africa’s very own Hollywood – yeah. Read the story here.
What is great is the amount of jobs that will be made available for people in the Film Industry. Also the investment and exposure that comes from the increase of Productions taking place here will just feed back into the industry and grow it more. Lekker.
Even better is that it is just around the corner for me. Not on the other side of the country, but right here – near Cape Town and Cape Town ROCKS
Ok, it probably aims itself directly at the more professional and establish production companies etc, and it is doubtful that someone like me could take up shop there. But with the increase of the Industry’s presence and requirements it may be viable to job shadow or actually help some of the smaller production houses.
