Thanks to, Hat Tip (HT) to Gareth Richards for finding this for me :-)

pretty interesting

How awesome is this:
I am featured on ChurchCrunch in the Friday 5 segment :-)

First of all – a huge thanks to John for featuring me, it’s a massive honour.

To everyone popping in for a visit here because of that:
hope you have a great day, that God shows you something wonderful,
and that you return and possibly add a thought or two down in the form of comments.

stoked

I read ChurchCrunch’s post on Blog Contributions – Pretty awesome; gonna offer my 2 cents and see what happens.
But I would like to offer the option here as well, but more focused towards the Church Video maker, editor or camera person (volunteer or paid) – I would like to hear what you have to say and let the world know. Well the part of the world that reads this blog :-)

Twitter has averted the Facebook take over, ah oh. Check it here. Actually I am not sure how that affects me, hmmm.

Anyway Twitter still Rulz.

I love it.
Facebook is very general and quite bloated if you ask me.

I enjoy it but I can’t spend that much time there.
However Twitter is crazy, I could spend the whole day there.
It is just so more engaging.
I can express myself more without so much effort.
It just take a few seconds as apposed to the minutes required by Facebook.

So I invite you (first to register if you haven’t yet) to follow me – even if just for a week – and have a glimpse into my crazy world where I express myself, the work I do and the love I have for my family and for Christ.

Follow me on Twitter. :-)

buzzable

Twitter is cool.
You can track, follow, use search terms, reTweet, refer and of course tweet – yeah baby yeah.
But it does not have groups.
Or maybe it does.
Check out Buzzable.
Join a group or make one and you can tweet to all the group members.
niice.

More info about Buzzable at TechCrunch.

I have Joined the ChurchCrunch Buzzable Group.
And trying to create my own group for SynapticLight. (waiting for confirmation)

From a Church point of view the group concept can be used to target specific ministry profiles. Twitter is great, but it broadcasts to all followers without prejudice. But with Buzzable the Church can further leverage the Social Networking concept of Twitter by allowing people to join groups within the Church so that the right information goes to the right people.

Herein begins the tireless journey of one individual’s vision to engage the world through wordpress.

umm, ok, not the the whole world, maybe a subset of video enthusiasts – Christian or not – mentioned that because I am a Christian.

I have begun setting up my wordpress blog locally on my MacBook Pro with:

Ok I have selected a theme and have switched, sorry if it is the same as yours ;-)

but I intent to mirror the blog on a locally hosted wordpress.org 2.7 (2.8 when it comes out) so that I can switch to that as soon as possible.
