It is always great to see opportunities like this; Short and Feature Film Competitions. This one is looks to come with full license to be creative and stylistic beyond the typical. Well, it must be fashionable to be taken seriously. Fashionable? Yeah, as in Fashion, you know; clothes of style and beauty.

This is an opportunity for all you filmmakers to apply that funky filter, color grade or crazy angle that you have always wanted but have always been afraid of. You know what I mean. Ever since CreativeCow started with these very cool and very useful masterpieces I have been downloading them. They are full of so much practical advice and information; all so well presented. I mean where do these guys get the time and money to do this – they do not charge anything for it (yes I know, advertising, but even the advertising is relevant). Sonnet Tempo Plight

I have been using the Sonnet Tempo ExpressCard34 now for about 2 years now.
When it is working it is great – I use it for two External 1TB drives I use with Video Editing.
However, I always struggle to maintain consistent usability.
If the drives do not connect and wiggling the connection does not work then I power off the card and re-insert,

Node Based Compositing for After Effects Users

With the launch of CS5, I have become quite interested in After Effects. However, my hesitation of moving from Shake to AE has been my preference to Node Based Compositing (where as AE is Layer based, with a sort of Node view).
