blogRank collects data on thousands of your favorite blogs, evaluates them against common metrics and then ranks them using a unique formula.
I know what you’re saying: “it’s just another list”, but hey it’s a list that measures me against a group of blogs that that I respect – and I am not doing too badly. It also helps me to identify a few goals, for example: I would like to see my Alexa rank below 100,000. It’s just a number, but it’s a number that gives me incentive.
I am currently 20th on the ultimate list and 4th by RSS membership – thanks good people.
Here are some of the lists that they maintain, below that is the ultimate list as it stands currently (at the time of the post).
- Filmmaking Blogs: The ultimate rank
- Filmmaking Blogs: by Feedburner RSS membership*
- Filmmaking Blogs: by unique monthly visitors
- Filmmaking Blogs: by Yahoo indexed pages
- Filmmaking Blogs: by Google indexed pages
- Filmmaking Blogs: by number of incoming links (via Yahoo)
- Filmmaking Blogs: by the ratio of incoming links to numbers of pages
- Filmmaking Blogs: by Google PR
- Filmmaking Blogs: by Alexa rank
- Filmmaking Blogs: by Compete rank

Just came across your blog on the list you’re detailing. Nice work. If you don’t mind sharing, what plug in are you using for the social bookmark widget to the left?
